The Busy Month of February

by sallysimpson. 0 Comments

So February has been a very busy month for us………

First of all there was Valentines Day, which inspired our new window display, we named “Lucky Valentines”. It features a beautiful bridal gown with a tartan bodice and bustle and 2 bridesmaid dresses with tartan bodices. The window seems to have wetted some future brides appetites as we now have various¬†bridal appointments in the diary alongside all our other appointments. Valentines Day was also the first day we posted on our newest social media site, Instagram.

Secondly we have a Fashion Management student, Susan, from Robert Gordon University interning with us for 12 weeks. Susan is mainly focusing on the Marketing and PR side of the business but is also helping out in the shop.

Lastly we have signed up to do the Kiltwalk with Children1st which takes place on the 1st of June in Aberdeen. It is a mammoth 26 miles!! It’s all for a good cause though, raising money for Scotland’s children. We have made some cocktail kilts for Children1st’s walk leaders which has been done in their very own tartan. They will be taking part in the Aberdeen, Speyside and Dundee walks.

We will be keeping you updated on all the Kiltwalk news.
